Aeroball is played one-on-one, or in 2-man teams, with each player being on his or her own trampoline, approximately 5’ x 5’ in size.

Each individual trampoline is enclosed with strong mesh walls for safety, but the “net” between the  players is lower, allowing the soft foam ball to move back and forth over the net, between the two players’ cages.

Behind each player is a yellow target, which acts as the basket for the opposing player. The object of the game is to jump on the trampoline, launch the ball into the target behind your opponent’s head, all while attempting to keep the ball from hitting the ground on your tramp.

· Game duration is 5 minutes. The player with the highest score at the end of the game wins.

· Players decide which player has the first launch (serve)

· Players have 2 bounds (jumps) per possession to launch (shoot) the AER-ball, or a foul is called. (3 bounds for beginners)

· Players may not use the walls, poles, or any part of their AERO-zone as support or leverage to launch, or a foul is called.

· If a foul is called, player must give up launch (possession) of the AER-ball to his/her opponent.

· Players must be suspended in air to launch (shoot) the ball

· Points are scored by making baskets in opponent’s goal (2, 3, or 5 points depending on difficulty of shot)

· Players also earn 1 point if the ball hits the tramp floor in their opponent’s AERO-zone.

· Points may be scored on defense as well: successful interception of a launched ball earns 1 point if the direction of the ball is reversed in mid-air and is returned to the opponent’s court.

· Play at a safe pace. STOP PLAYING if you feel pain, dizziness, or weakness
